Workshop Description

In this session we will focus on 5 distinct affirmation styles -"love languages" for supporting, motivating and affirming staff. We will examine how building on strengths and individualizing affirmation styles provides supervisors and managers an opportunity to support adults in a similar "constructivist" approach that we use with children. We will explore practical applications to motivate and support staff and their unique and diverse needs using respectful, creative and diverse strategies.
