"Engaging
Adult Learners"

This workshop is designed as a
tool to help you reflect, organize and plan when preparing a
presentation or workshop. This
workshop will provide a simple overview of the basic elements of
powerful presentations, keys to and needs of adult learners and
practical strategies for engaging adult learners by meeting their
diverse individual needs and making the content meaningful and relevant.
This
workshop will challenge and support our thinking of how to meet diverse
and individual needs of adult learners.
This workshop promotes understanding of how to present
information to and teach adults using developmentally and individually
appropriate teaching strategies thereby modeling the same strategies we
want caregivers and teachers to use with young children.

introduced to the 10 keys to presenting powerful presentations.

learn
a variety of presentation/training strategies for meeting the
diverse needs of adult learners including strategies using the 8
intelligences as defined by Howard Gardner

learn teaching
strategies that promote meaningful and relevant learning experiences
for learners to connect with the content being presented.
